This year is the 90th Anniversary of the San Benito County
Saddle Horse Show and Rodeo!!!
The Historical Society will need helpers to put this year's float together in the week prior to parade,
and take part in the parade itself on June 15.

Recurring items
General membership meetings are held quarterly.
March and September meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at the Wapple Museum starting at 7pm
The June Meeting is a lunch pot luck at the Historical Village on a Saturday. Please join us June 15, 2024 at 11:00am.
The December quarterly meeting is usually the 2nd Wednesday in December at the Wapple House Museum. More info to follow.
The first Saturday of each month 9am-12pm is the Volunteer Workday. We meet at the Village's Cottage Bar. Your enthusiasm and gardening, carpentry and painting skills will help us keep this special place in good repair. Historical Society provides tools, materials & a grilled hot dog lunch. Typical events at the Historical Village include...
The Historical Park is rented out for this event held in August. The Historical Society sells food and drink at the event.
School children are invited to learn about the Civil War on Friday Sept 6. The public is invited Saturday and Sunday. Contact Wes Leiser (831)673-0528 for more information.
The Historical Park is rented out for Hope Harvest's festive Fall fundraiser event held in September. The Historical Society provides educational building tours, vintage hands-on craft opportunities and in 2024, a Barn Sale!
